Shalom!

Welcome to Shalom Ranch Ministries. Many people believe that Shalom simply means "peace". The word has so much more depth than this. Shalom means "peace, wholeness, and completeness in every area of your life." This is what Shalom Ranch is all about. We believe that we have been given everything we need for Life and Godliness; we believe that The Holy Spirit will bring to our attention the therapies required to heal every child that He brings across our path. Every child.

Shalom Ranch has been a burden of prayer for many years for us. Recently, Yahweh God began to open some very exciting doors, including a 320 acre horse facility in rural Saskatchewan Canada to base the ministry out of. Last year we began breeding American Bashkir Curly horses. This breed is ideal for the ministry; they are extremely friendly, very hardy, and best of all hypo-allergenic! And the sale of some of the horses can help fund the ministry. All horses are being started/trained with Natural Horsemanship methods. We are very impressed with the techniques pioneered by Monty Roberts. Summer of 06 saw us starting 7 horses using his methods with great results.

We can only stand in awe of the work the Lord is doing through us. Two years ago Marie released a French Homeschooling curriculum that is based on explicit phonics. It, and the Spanish version released last year, have been selling quite well and are the primary funding source for the Ranch. This year saw the French Junior for younger children and the French Level II. Marie is working on the Spanish Level II and we hope to release the Spanish Junior soon. We have been blessed to have a sweet German lady to help with the German version; this project will start early 07. In addition, the door was opened for Peter to begin working from home which made it possible for us to leave the big city and move to the Ranch! Praise Yahweh!
